Connecticut has a proud tradition of growing and harvesting some of the finest cigar tobaccos in the world. These same local shade and broadleaf tobaccos are hand rolled into cigars by the Connecticut Valley Tobacconist L.L.C., in the historical Hazardville section of Enfield. We take great pride in keeping this time-honored tradition alive by celebrating the fine crops of the Connecticut farmer, by masterfully crafting these tobaccos into a fine work of art - The Cigar.
In fact, Connecticut Valley Tobacconist L.L.C. is the only producer of cigars of any type i.e. machine made, small or large handmade, that are made in Connecticut. We are proud to offer our own series of handrolled cigars - TOBACCONIST CHOICE. Cigars produced in this series are: Battleground Cigar, Old Powder Keg, Havannah and our newest creation MYSTERIOSO. TOBACCONIST CHOICE VINTAGE 2001 is the only brand exclusively made in Enfield, CT.
In addition to hand rolling our own cigars, Connecticut Valley Tobacconist L.L.C., is recognized as having one of the finest selection of imported handmade cigars, humidors, butane lighters, fine briar pipes and pipe tobaccos in the Connecticut River Valley .
